With Barnardo’s
Role Service Design Lead
2024

Our team at Barnardo’s develops evidence-based service models that define future service delivery - outlining the support we provide, the tools and technologies we use, the data we capture, the outcomes we measure, the roles required, and the overall cost of delivery.
We collaborate closely across Children’s Services, Business Development, Policy, Data & Insight, and Research teams to ensure each model is coherent, aligned, and strategically grounded.

Outcome & Impact
The collaboratively developed service model for Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) provided clearer guidance for funding applications and service implementation. Building on this foundation, our team co-created a model that defines Barnardo’s offer to education settings - promoting a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing that supports students, parents and carers, and staff.
