Originally from South Korea, I’ve lived in the UK since 2013. After two years in Seoul leading hospital innovation work and reconnecting with home, I returned to the UK in 2022 and am now based in Brighton.

I bring over 15 years of experience in design, social innovation, and health and wellbeing across the UK and South Korea. I design intentional, evidence-based services that support better mental health and wellbeing - and coach individuals to live happier, healthier lives with greater purpose.

I currently work as a Senior Service Designer at Barnardo’s, where I previously served as Interim Co-Head of Service Design at the Innovation Lab. I also lecture remotely in Service Design at Ewha Womans University in Seoul and am a certified coach, integrating coaching into my design leadership practice.

Prior to joining Barnardo’s, I held roles as Service Design Director at Seoul Medical Centre, Senior Service Designer at Innovation Unit, and Designer at Shift, A New Direction, and Care City - collaborating with partners across local government, health, education, and the voluntary sector to improve lives through design.

I see both design and coaching as tools for growth - ways to invite people into open, reflective, and sometimes challenging conversations. Through that process, we not only design better services but also nurture deeper understanding and build more compassionate systems.
